Investment Types

Investment types are used to categorize budget submission amounts and must be configured in the Investment Type table.

In order register expenses from your Nakisa Lease Administration instance, you must map these investment types to Nakisa Lease Administration internal asset classes (defined in the Asset Class Mapping table in the Nakisa AdminConsole). The application uses this mapping to determine which budget to apply to Nakisa Lease Administration expenses. A single investment type can be mapped to multiple Nakisa Lease Administration asset classes.

Newly created investment types are only displayed in new submissions (and are not added to old submissions created before the investment type). Additionally, note that you cannot delete an investment type if it has been used in a submission.

To configure investment types:

  1. Click Application Menu > Administration > Investment Types.
  2. To create a new investment type, click . An Create Investment Type pop-up appears.
