Mass Contract Change Batches

Users with Accountant roles can create Mass Contract Change batches to perform a contract change event to change the contract CPI type or delete open drafts. Note that the Delete Open Draft batch action deletes all open drafts (regardless of the draft status) for the contract and activation group.

To create a Mass Casualty Batch:

  1. Click Main Menu > Batch Management > Create Batch.
  2. Set the Batch Type to "Mass Contract Change".
  1. On the Definition page, modify the following information, if required:
    1. Click to change the object type for the Target Level. Note that depending on the batch type, the Target Level may be automatically selected and cannot be changed.
    2. Enter a new Batch Name.

  3. In the left-panel, click Filters to determine which objects the batch should be run on. It is possible to filter batches based on application objects such as, master agreements, contracts and activation groups, or by specific criteria (such as System, Lease Area, etc.). • "None": The contract does not use CPI indexation rates.
      • "CPI Local": The indexation values (CPI) will be defined manually by the user.
        1. The Current Index Level is set to 0.00 by default. If required, modify the value to indicate if the current index level is some other amount, but note that it will not affect the current financial schedule. It will be used to calculate the difference with the new rate when an indexation event is added.
      • "CPI Global": The Current Index Level is set according to configured indexation dates.
        1. Set the Reference Date that the application will use to filter the options in the CPI Indexation drop-down. Only the configured indexations that are valid for the Reference Date will be shown.
        2. Optionally, set the CPI Indexation Type to further filter the CPI indexation drop-down.

Tip: In case of an error, refine the filter settings for a smaller batch.

  3. To generate batch items, click at the top of the page. All of the matching objects are listed on the Batch Items page. The batch status changes from "Draft" to "Ready".
