Copying Contracts

Existing contracts can be copied, with the choice of also copying the lease components in the contract.

If events have occurred, the application copies the current value of the fields and terms in the contract and lease component (and not the values at inception). Note that if you copy the lease component, casualty, indexation, impairment, and cash incentive terms added after inception are not copied.

To copy a contract:

1. Open the contract that needs to be copied.
2. Click the Context Menu > Copy Contract.
3. Enter the new Contract Name.
4. You will be prompted for answer whether you also want to copy the lease components in the contract. Click Yes or No.
5. If you chose to copy the lease components, enter the Lease Component Name.
6. Click Submit.
