Approving an MLA
When the MLA has been filled in with all of the required information, the Lease Administrator must request approval for the MLA. The VP of Leasing that has been added as the user responsible for MLA approval will automatically receive an alert in the Notification Center, as well as an email notification. Note that any VP of Leasing with access to the MLA can approve the contract.
The VP of Leasing has the following options available:
- Approving the MLA.
- Discarding the MLA.
- Sending the MLA back to be reworked.
- Calling back their approval if no contract has been added.
To send an MLA for approval:
- Open the Master Agreement.
- At the top of the page, click Send to Approval. The Master Agreement Status changes to "Waiting for approval".
To approve an MLA:
- Open the Master Agreement.
- If the MLA is correctly defined, click Approve at the top of the page. The Master Agreement Status changes to "Active".
- To send the MLA back to be updated or modified, click Rework. The Master Agreement Status changes back to "Define". The Lease Administrator identified on the Partners page will receive a notification.
- To get rid of the MLA, click Discard. The Master Agreement Status changes to "Discarded".
- If the MLA has been approved but no contract has been added yet, the VP of Leasing can click Callback to revoke the MLA approval and send it back to the Define Master Agreement State.
