Creating Master Lease Agreements

The first step in contract administration is for Lease Administrators to create a master lease agreement (MLA).

To create a new master lease agreement:

  1. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Click Main Menu > Create Master Agreement.
    • On the Master Agreements search results page, click Create New at the top of the page.
  2. Select the Year that the MLA starts. If you need to create an MLA in a year that is not available in the list, contact your system administrator.
  3. Select the Lease Area, which represents a regional area or different legal responsibilities. Note that a lease area is assigned to one or many company codes.
  4. Based on the configuration defined by the system administrator, the Master Agreement ID
    may be automatically generated based on the selected year and lease area. If it is not, enter an ID that follows the configured format and range. Note that if there is no indicated ID format or range, you may enter any ID, but it must not be longer than 12 characters.
  5. Enter the Master Agreement Name.
  6. Click Submit.
