Black Drop-Down Lists

Problem

In Chrome, all drop-down lists are black except for the entry that you are currently hovering over.

Solution

Hardware acceleration in Chrome needs to be turned off.

Procedure

1. In your Chrome browser, go to chrome://settings/system
2. Under System, turn off the option "Use hardware acceleration when available".
3. Close your browser.
