Notification Settings

Use the Notification Settings to configure whether or not Nakisa HR Suite will send your users notifications after certain in-application events, and the email configuration for the account sending those notifications.

Set the Application URL:

Specify the URL where your Nakisa HR Suite application is hosted. This URL will be use to correctly setup hyperlinks to the application in notifications.

Note: Provide the full URL, excluding the trailing "/defaut.html".

To turn on email notifications:

Move the toggle switch to the right to turn notifications on to allow Nakisa HR Suite to send your users notifications via email when appropriate.

To set the sender notification details:

  1. Enter the Email SMTP Host server name.
  2. Enter the port that the SMTP host uses to send messages in the Email SMTP Port field.
  3. Enter the address of the sender account in the Email Sender Address field.
  4. Enter the username of the sender account in the Email Sender User field.
  5. Enter the password for that sender account in the Email SMTP Password field.
  6. Click Test Email Connection to verify the data you entered will be able to send notifications.
  7. Click Save.

To turn on Slack notifications:

Move the toggle switch to the right to turn notifications on to allow Nakisa HR Suite to send your users notifications via Slack when appropriate.

To set the Slack notification details:

  1. Enter the Slack user authorization token in the Slack Token field. For help setting this up, please contact your Nakisa implementation team or partner.
  2. Enter Nakisa HR Suite's URL for the front end of the application in the Application URL field, without the default.html at the end.
  3. Click Save.
