Scenario Reports

Classic Nakisa HR Suite offers a number of reports to see what changes have been made to your scenario. Each report provides slightly different information, some can be exported to Excel and some cannot, so use this information to determine which report you need to open when viewing your changes.

  • Activity Log: The Activity log identifies changes made to the framework of the scenario, including when a scenario was created and by whom, if targets were added or met, and if a scenario was shared or assignments were made within the scenario. You can use this to keep track of the overall approval process of a scenario. This report can be exported to Excel.
  • Audit Log: The Audit log is a comprehensive list of all changes made within a scenario throughout the life of a scenario. Changes to specific objects, additions and deletions/ delimits of objects, who made the changes and when are all included in this log. You can use this log to review the record of all of the changes in the scenario, which can be useful when tracking multiple changes to an object. This report can be exported to Excel.

Note: To export your Audit Log to Excel, click the report to excel icon to the top right.

  • Changes Report: The Changes report is a list of delta changes between when the scenario was created and the current time. It displays a bar chart of anything added, moved or modified in a scenario. It also displays any object or relation changes in the scenario. By default, all object changes are listed and sorted chronologically based on their timestamp, while all relation changes are sorted based on the Object ID. If an object was changed multiple times, only the final change to that object is recorded. This report is extremely useful when preparing a manual writeback to an ERP system. This report can be exported to Excel.

Note: To export your Changes Report to Excel, click the report to excel icon to the top right. The Changes Report can be exported in a simple view or a Detailed View (if enabled). The Detailed view, all new items will be highlighted while unchanged items will fall into the "current" column.

  • Sync Report: The Sync Report identifies a 3-way list of changes comparing your scenario from the time you started it to now, as well as the differences between the scenario now and your source. If there are conflicts between your source and your scenario (say, you want to move a position that has since been deleted), you will need to resolve those issues prior to writeback. You should run this report periodically during your scenarios to avoid having a long list of conflicts to resolve when you are ready to write your scenario back. Before you export the sync report, identify and resolve all conflicts to get valid data in your export. Running this report is the first step of preparing your scenario to be written back to your ERP.

Note: To export your Sync Report to Excel, click the report to excel icon to the top right. The Sync Report can be exported in a simple view or a Detailed View (if enabled). The Detailed view, all new items will be highlighted while unchanged items will fall into the "current" column.

  • Writeback Report: After you run your sync report and resolve all of your conflicts, you can run your Writeback Report. This is another 3-way list of changes between your scenario's creation, the scenario after resolving conflicts, and your source. You should run this report when you are ready to write your scenario back to your ERP. If you are writing back to an ERP other than SAP, this would be the report you export to Excel to upload into your ERP. This report can be exported to Excel.
  • Change Key Date Report: This is the first action of changing the key date for your scenario. It is basically the Sync Report, but for a different date. You would run this report if you need to postpone the date that the changes that you have made in your scenario will become effective (writing your scenario back to your ERP). This report can be exported to Excel.

Note: To export your Change Key Date Report to Excel, click the report to excel icon to the top right. The Change Key Date Report can be exported in a simple view or a detailed view (if enabled). The Detailed view, all new items will be highlighted while unchanged items will fall into the "current" column.

  • Span of Control Analysis: Lists the span of control for all managers involved in the scenario. Lists the Position ID and name, the Employee ID and name, the Layer, Active SOC, SOC Lower Bound, SOC Upper Bound the SOC Status. The SOC bounds can be edited through the Context Menu.

Note: The Span of Control information you can see in a scenario depends on the write access to that record.
