BAPI Settings

The BAPI settings page lists all of the BAPIs used by the application. If you wish to create your own BAPIs, you can point to the new BAPIs on this page (as long as they are passing the same parameters).

To view or modify the list of BAPIs:

  1. Click Application Menu > Settings.
  2. In the left-menu, click BAPI Settings under Settings.
  3. View the list of BAPIs.
  4. If you have created a custom BAPI and would like to replace a standard one, update the name of the BAPI used.
  5. Click Save.

A few BAPI-related switches are also available on the BAPI Settings page:

Switch Description

Sync Vendor with RFC Table

If enabled, the application will use RFC_READ_TABLE to sync vendors (which can be used with a custom view) instead of the standard BBP_VENDOR_GETLIST BAPI. Refer to the Deployment Guide for instructions on how to create the custom view to use when the switch is enabled.

Cost Center with RFC (ENT4007)

If enabled, all Cost Centers are synced with RFC_READ_TABLE with standard view (ENT4007). If disabled, the application follows the setting for the switch "Cost Center with RFC (CSKS)".

Cost Center with RFC (CSKS)

If enabled, the application will sync all Cost Centers using a standard view (CSKS) with RFC_READ_TABLE. If disabled, the application syncs individual Cost Centers with BAPI_COSTCENTER_GETLIST and BAPI_COSTCENTER_GETDETAIL1. If the switch "Cost Center with RFC (ENT4007)" is enabled, it takes precedence over "Cost Center with RFC (CSKS)".

When the switch is enabled, the field Read RFC Cost Center List & Details is used.

New RFC_READ_TABLE For SAP ERP versions ECC6 or S/4HANA 2020 or earlier with the support package 61817INSAPFIN or later applied that changes RFC_READ_Table, enable the switch to send the correct BAPIs and parameters to SAP. This switch is disabled by default.
