Order Priority

By default, the values configured in groups, group options, picklists, and user defined fields are displayed in alphabetical order.

However, users can customize the display order by assigning a priority number to some or all of the fields. The lower the number (close to 1), the higher the priority, and vice versa. An item with a priority of 1 will be displayed first. If multiple items are assigned the same priority number, they will be displayed in alphabetical order.

If some items have priority and others do not, the system will display those with priority first in ascending order, then the items without priority in alphabetical order.

Note: A value of 0 corresponds to the lowest priority. An item with a priority of 0 will always be displayed after an item with a value of 1 or more. It will, however, be displayed above items with no assigned priority. You cannot set a negative priority (-1, -2, -3 etc.).
