Partners

The Partners tab gives you the option of associating different types of partners to the location:

  • Landlords: Person or entity that is providing the location.
  • Managers: The person or entity who is the administrator of the property.
  • Vendors: The person or entity who is receiving payments linked to owned locations, or the person or entity who is making payments linked to leased locations.

Note that to remove a partner, click in the Actions column and click Dissociate.

To associate partners to a location:

  1. Click Main > Locations in the application menu and open the required location.
  2. Click the Partners tab.
  3. To add landlords or managers, click in the related section.
    1. To search for a partner, enter at least two characters in the Name field.
    2. Select one or more landlord or manager and click Save.

To associate a vendor to a location:

  1. Click in the Vendors section.
  2. In the Role drop-down, select the type of vendor that you are associating to the location:
    • Lessee: The party that is renting the location. This option is generally used when you own the location.
    • Lender: The party that is financing the lease (and is only involved in the money aspect).
    • Supplier.
    • Lessor: The party that leases the property or finances the lessee. This option is generally used when you are leasing the location.
  3. To search for a partner, enter at least two characters in the Name field.
  4. Select one or more landlord or manager and click Save.

To associate contacts to your partners:

  1. Click > Add New Contact next to the partner to which you'd like to associate a contact.
  2. Enter a Name and Email for the contact.
  3. Fill in any additional information in the optional fields.
  4. Click Save.
