Best Practices for Successful M&A Imports

When importing organizational data for an acquired company in an Org Merger scenario, it is recommended to prefix IDs with a string to avoid unintentionally overwriting or ignoring records during import.
When importing an SSP structure into an OOSP scenario, it is highly recommended to add an OrgUnit record in the Excel file and set it as the parent OU for all of the Position records in that import file. This would allow easy access to all imported Positions.
