Assigning Work Areas to Other Users
You can assign portions of your scenarios to yourself and your managers (if your Nakisa HR Suite administrator set up a work area assignment model in your organization). This gives you control over the scenario and allows the managers who are closest to the department or organization unit and most familiar with its dynamics to create the best structure. You can assign specific work areas to specific managers, or if you created the scenario, you can assign responsibility for the entire scenario to another authorized user.
To assign a work area to an authorized user:
- Open the scenario and access its org chart.
- Click the node menu of the node you want to assign and click Assign Work Area .
- Search for the user you want to be responsible for this work area and click Add.
- Select the Access Level for the user.
- Full Access - Gives the user full read and write access to all the objects within the work area, as well as to all of their corresponding secured data.
- Read Access - Gives the user read only access to all the objects within the work area. and be able to view all their corresponding secured data.
- Restricted Access - Gives the user read only access to all the objects within the work area but will not be able to view any of their correspondent secured data.
- Click Confirm.
To assign an entire root to yourself (or another user)
- Open the scenario and select Find Roots from the Actions menu .
- Click the context menu for the root you need to assign and select Assign Work Area.
- Enter the name of the employee you want to assign this to, or click Add Myself to give yourself control of the scenario.
- Click Confirm.
Note: In work area assignment environments, a single user cannot have read-only or full access to a scenario while also having work areas assigned to them. If you plan to assign work areas to a user, select a different user to share your scenarios with and vice-versa.
