Org Chart Options
The chart options lets you customize the information that appears in the nodes in your org chart. To open the chart options, click the expand icon to the left of the frame. When the chart options panel opens, you can select which type of node view you want to see information for. Use the drop down menu to select one of the following view options:
- Standard View (default view)
- Employee Analytic View
- Position Analytic View
- Standard Summary View
- Simplified Summary View
Each view lets you select which details you want to include in the nodes in your org chart. After selecting your node view, you can then select which information you want to display in the node.
You can reset your filters by selecting the reset icon at the top of the filter panel. A filter sub category can be excluded from the search results by hovering over that sub category and clicking the exclude icon.
By default the filter info panel is open but you can hide and open the filter panel by clicking the collapse icon.
Save Custom Views
When selecting which options and views you want to see in your org chart, you can save a personalized custom view. When you creating a custom view it is only for that user.
To Save a Custom View:
- Open the Chart Options.
- Select your desired view and/or node options to display.
- Click Save As, give your custom view a name and click Save.
Your custom views are saved to the view dropdown menu in the Chart Options.
Every time you log into Nakisa HR Suite, the Org Chart view reverts to the default view. To open a custom view, open the Chart Options and select the view from the dropdown menu.
Standard View
The standard view is the default view of an org chart and nodes. The standard view displays the org chart in the chart view and lets you chose from the following details to include in the node:
- Portrait
- Location information
- Company information
- Employee status
- Contact information
Along with the standard details listed above, custom fields can be added to include any specific filters you may require that are not included in the predefined list.
Note: The ability to create a custom field is determined by your user access and is not available to all users.
Employee Analytic View
The employee analytic view displays the org chart in the chart view and gives you all the view options as the standard view, but you can also include employee analytic information in the nodes, if you chose:
- Headcount
- Span of control
- Total salary
- Layer
Position Analytic View
The position analytic view displays the org chart in the chart view and gives you all the view options as the standard view, but you can also include position analytic information in the nodes, if you chose:
- Position count
- Occupies Position count
- Unoccupied position count
- Managed position count

Standard Summary View
Standard summary displays the org chart and nodes in the summary mode and lets you chose from the following information to display:
- Employee information
- Position information
- Location information
- Company information
Note: To view the Summary view, ensure your org chart is in Summary mode.
Simplified Summary View
The simplified summary displays the org chart in the summary view and will only list the names of the employees that are direct reports to the node. You cannot select any other org chart options for this org chart option.
Note: To view the Simplified Summary view, ensure your org chart is in Summary mode.
