Creating Master Agreements

The first step in contract administration is for users to create a master agreement.

To create a master agreement:

  1. Perform one of the following actions:
    • On the Master Agreement landing page click in the landing page toolbar.
    • Click Main Menu > Create Master Agreement.
  2. Select the Year that the MLA starts. If you need to create an MLA in a year that is not available in the list, contact your system administrator.
  3. Select the Lease Area, which represents a regional area or different legal responsibilities. Note that a lease area is assigned to one or many company codes.
  4. If required, select the Asset Class that will be used for all contracts associated to this master agreement.
  5. Enter the Master Agreement Name.
  6. Click Submit.
