Data Abstraction (Beta)

Data abstraction in Nakisa Portfolio Management Suite allows you to extract key information from your lease documents and transform it into structured data that can be imported into the application as Nakisa Portfolio Management Suite contracts.

You can upload a single document to abstract, or a folder multiple documents.

This feature is disabled by default and must be enabled using the "Enable LLM Abstraction Jobs (Beta)" setting in admin.

Note: This feature is in Beta. As such, users may experience some issues during use. Additionally, AI generated content may require review for accuracy and completeness.

To create an abstraction job:

Click Main Menu > AI Lease Abstraction (Beta).
On the AI Abstraction Jobs (Beta) page, drag and drop the desired file into the application.
The application uploads the documents. Click Refresh to update the Status.
Click to begin abstracting information from the documents. This process can take several minutes depending on the file size. Click Refresh to update the Status.
Once the file is finished processing, click to begin review of the uploaded documents.

The page is split into two views to allow you to easily review the extracted information alongside your original documents. On the left side of the page is the document viewer which allows you to view the uploaded documents. On the right side of the page is the extracted information from the document.

To review the abstraction job:

The Summary tab lists the extracted information. Carefully review the information in this tab. Click next to an item to view where in the document the information was abstracted from.
In the Summary Mode drop-down, you can select the view for the Summary tab:
- Aggregated Documents: Shows a summary of all uploaded documents.
- Document Specific: Shows a summary of a specific document.
The Chat tab allows you to chat with Nakisa's AI to ask questions pertaining to your uploaded files.
Click Download Summary to download a PDF of the information currently visible in the Summary tab.

Once you have reviewed and confirmed the extracted information, you can proceed with downloading the import template. On the Abstraction Jobs (Beta) page, click to download the import template. You can upload the import template on the Data Import page.
