Viewing and Editing a Contract

Once a contract has been created, the following information can be added or modified:

• Contract Identification
• Rent Table and Accounting (IFRS 16/ASC 842 Compliant)
• Rent Table (Standard Real Estate)
• Critical Clauses
• Percentage Rent
• Clauses
• Conditions
• Incentives
• Insurance
• Separate Agreements
• Documents
• User Defined Fields

The workflow and the information required in the contract are affected by the Nakisa Portfolio Management Suite mode of operation, configured in the Accounting setting in the Admin menu. The modes of operation are:

• Real Estate Solution with IFRS 16/ASC 842 Compliance - Standard: This mode of operation requires the full involvement of accountants and approvers in Nakisa Lease Accounting Suite.
• Real Estate Solution with IFRS 16/ASC 842 Compliance - Streamlined: This mode of operation requires little involvement from accountants and approvers in Nakisa Lease Accounting Suite and uses default values for some accounting information.
• Standard Real Estate Solution: This mode of operation does not require any input in Nakisa Lease Accounting Suite.

Note that once the contract is activated, it becomes read-only and can only be edited if you create a new contract version.
