Lease Component Workflow
After a contract is approved, the Lease Administrator must create at least one lease component and have it approved. The following workflow process must be followed:
- The Lease Administrator must create a new lease component. The Lease Component Status is "Define".
- The Lease Administrator can add general information, as well as attach relevant documentation.
- The Accountant must then add all of the financial information to complete the setup, including adding all of the Terms and Conditions.
- Once the lease component is ready, the Lease Administrator can click Send to Approval. The Lease Component Status changes to "Waiting for Approval".
- The Approver can click Approve or Rework (to send the lease component back to "Define" Status). If required, click Cancel during the approval process to return the lease component to "Waiting for Approval" status. If the lease component is approved:
- Approval comments are stored in the Approver Comment field on the Definition tab of the lease component.
- The Lease Component Status changes to "Active".
- The activation group is automatically created.
- If the activation group is in "Define" status (and has not been previously reverted), the Lease Administrator can click Callback to delete the activation group and bring the lease component back to "Define" status.
Note: For non-lease contracts, the Lease Component Status changes to "Closed" and no activation group is created.
