About Schedules and Postings
Financial schedules are generated per classification and displayed per unit. Before the activation group is sent for assessment, you can generate a simulation of the financial schedules based on the options currently selected in the activation group (e.g., the classification or the exercised terms) by clicking Generate Schedules at the top of the page.
Once the activation group is sent to assessment, financial schedules are automatically updated based on the options currently selected in the activation group, and simulated schedules that do not represent the final version are removed.
The application generates the following types of schedules:
- For lessee contracts:
- All Columns Schedule
- Liability Schedule
- Payment Schedule
- Asset Transition Schedule
- Migrated Schedule
- For lessee provisioned contracts:
- Provision Schedule
- Provision Payment Schedule
- For lessor contracts:
- Operating Lease Schedule
- Payment Schedule
You can also use the financial schedules to view and post payment, accrual, and depreciation transactions, in addition to viewing journal entries.
Note: Short term, low value, and provision leases do not have inception journals, event journals, or termination journals.
