Expense Category Mapping

The Expense Category Mapping page allows users to map expense categories from Financial Organization Structure to one of the pre-defined expense groups in Nakisa Portfolio Management Suite. Expense categories that are mapped are used in CAM and Reconciliation calculations or to switch the Rent Table view.

You can only map one expense category to one expense group, but expense groups can apply to more than one expense category. For example, the maintenance expense category is only mapped to CAM, but CAM also includes parking and cleaning.

To map an expense category:

Click Main Menu > Admin > Accounting > Expense Category Mapping.
Click New Mapping.
Select a Expense Category.
Select the Expense Group to map the Expense Category to.
Click Save.
