Schedules
The Schedules page allows users to view and post all their recurring and one time payments, as well as view provisioning amounts if it is enabled for the contract. The schedules can be viewed once the contract is approved (for streamlined IFRS 16/ASC 842 compliance only), or activated.
You can also post scheduled payments for multiple contracts at once through batches.
Note: Payments from legacy terms are not included in the schedules.
The schedules are split into three views:
- Lease Commitments: This view allows you to manage and post recurring payments. Recurring payments can be sorted by Year and Expense Category. If taxes are calculated for the contract, you can also see an estimated tax amount before the payment is posted. After the payment is posted, the tax amount is updated to reflect the actual tax payment that is posted. The tax amounts are calculated per payment amount.
- Provision Expense Spreading: This view is only available if provisioning is enabled for this contract. It allows you to view your provisioning amounts.
- One Time Charges: This view allows you to create and manage one time charges. One time payments can only be added after a contract is activated and can be deleted until they are posted.
Note: One time payments are only posted to the main accounting standard defined for the contract in Nakisa Lease Accounting Suite.
