Viewing a Derived Org Chart

Organizational charts (org charts) graphically show the hierarchical authority, roles and responsibilities, and relationships in an organization. If you are in an SSP environment, Hanelly can analyze your current organization structure and use that data to predict what your organization structure would look like in an OOSP environment. Conversely, if you are in an OOSP environment, Hanelly can analyze your structure and predict what an SSP environment would look like. See the Hanelly Administrator Guide or ask your Hanelly administrator if you want more technical details on how the derivation process works.

Derived org charts provide most of the functionality available to regular org charts, except there is no scenario modeling functionality, and because a derived chart is based on today's organization structure only, none of the effective date functionality (trends, employee timeline, etc.) applies.

To view a derived org chart:

  1. Click the Main menu and select Derived Charts, then select the chart you want to open. Most users will only have one chart.
  2. Click the icons in the org chart boxes to navigate within the hierarchies.
