Quick Search

You can easily search employee and position data in Hanelly Insights using the Quick Search, by entering some of your search term and then selecting from the results that appear instantly. Alternatively, complete the search to view all matching records listed in the Directory pages.

To use Quick Search

  1. If needed, select a search category from the drop-down menu on the side of the Quick Search window . You can search within positions , employees , or org units . Note that org units are not available if the application is set up with an SSP structure.
  2. Enter one or more letters of your search criteria into the Quick Search window. The most relevant records (or the top 5 records with matching criteria) are shown.
  3. Click on the desired record to select it and it will open in the Details Panel, or click on the magnifying glass to see all the search results.

The following fields can be searched within each object type:

  • Position: Position ID, Position Name, Position City, Position Country, Job Name, Legal Entity Name, Division Name, Department Name, Business Unit Name
  • Employee: Employee ID, First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Mobile, Position ID, Position Name, Position City, Position Country, Job Name, Legal Entity Name, Division Name, Department Name, Business Unit Name
  • Org Unit: Org Unit ID, Org Unit Name, Org Unit City, Org Unit Country, Org Unit Manager Position ID, Org Unit Manager Position Name, Org Unit Manager Employee ID, Org Unit Manager Employee First Name, Org Unit Manager Employee Last Name, Org Unit Manager Employee Display Name, Org Unit Company Code Name, Org Unit Controlling Area Name, Org Unit Cost Center ID, Org Unit Cost Center Name, Org Unit Personnel Area Name, Org Unit Personnel Subarea Name
