Turnover Analysis Overview

The Overview page displays charts to track and better understand turnover trends, analytics, charts, and record details. The page is based on the Historic Employee Dataset (i.e., employees' records for all effective dates) with additional filters to only display terminated employees.

You can use the following options to drill down or analyze your data:

  • Use the filter panel to narrow down the data displayed on the page.
  • Use the hierarchy search to select a position or org unit and only display data for objects that report to that position.
  • Change a dashboard to the equivalent search results page containing the data currently displayed.
  • Select a record on a search results page and open the Details Panel to view record details.
  • Export the records from the search results page to Excel for reporting purposes.

You can also customize the layout, which is only visible to you (and not to other users viewing the same pages). For information on how to use the dashboard toolbar and chart options, see About Dashboards.

To access the Overview page:

  1. Click the Main Menu .
  2. Click Turnover AnalysisOverview.

Turnover Headcount

Total number of employees who left the organization.

Turnover Cost

Total cost to your organization after an employee leaves.

(CR value + Manager value + Tenure value) * Maximum salary scale value

  • If the employee is a critical resource, CR value = 0.3.
  • If the employee is not a critical resource, CR value = 0.1.
  • If the employee is a manager, Manager value = 0.3.
  • If the employee is not a manager, Manager value = 0.1.
  • Tenure value is the number of years of tenure multiplied by 0.01.

Turnover Manager Headcount

Total number of managers who left the organization.

Average tenure of employees who left the organization.

Average age of employees who left the organization.

Turnover Headcount Trend

Total number of employees who left the organization over time (by Termination Date).

Turnover Cost ($) Trend

Total cost to your organization after an employee leaves over time (by Termination Date).

Turnover by Country

Total number of employees who left the organization by country, where:

  • SSP: Total number of employees who left the organization by Position Country.
  • OOSP: Total number of employees who left the organization by Org Unit Country.

Total number of employees who left the organization by gender over time (displayed based on the month and year of the Termination Date).

Turnover by Performance & Potential

Total number of employees who left the organization by Performance & Potential.

Turnover by Company

SSP: Total number of employees who left the organization by Company (i.e., Legal Entity).

OOSP: Total number of employees who left the organization by Company (i.e., Company Code Name).
