Custom Filters

By default, most of the new fields you add to Nakisa HR Suite in the will be added into the Filter Panel that appears on the left side of the org chart in the front end of the application. However, if you add a number field, you might want additional configuration for the number fields. In this case, you can configure range clusters for the numeric values, or you can set a a quantity of values that will show based on search results. This page explains how to configure your number fields and add them to your Filter Panel.

To add a new Custom Term-Based Filter Field:

  1. Click the Edit Orgunit Filter Categories, Edit Position Filter Categories or Edit Employee Filter Categories.
  2. Click Unassigned.
  3. Select Term to create the filter category
  4. Enter the Term Settings
    • Size -The number of hits that will be displayed in the filter panel.
    • Order - The order the list displays.
      • Term indicates an alphabetical order of the values.
      • Count indicates a numerical order of the values.
  5. Click Create to save your term.

To add a new Number Range-Based Filter Field:

  1. Click the Edit Orgunit Filter Categories, Edit Position Filter Categories or Edit Employee Filter Categories.
  2. Click Unassigned.
  3. Select Range from the Filter Type radio buttons.
  4. Enter the low end of the range of values you want to display in the Filter Panel in the From value.
  5. Enter the upper end of the range of values you want to display in the Filter Panel in the To value. Or, if you don't want to have an upper value, click No Limit.
  6. Add a title for the range, click the Edit button, then enter your title and any translations you may need for it. This is the value that will appear in the Filter panel.
  7. Click Save to save your Filter title.
  8. Click Create. to save your new Filter option

To add a new Custom Date Range :

  1. Click the Edit Orgunit Filter Categories, Edit Position Filter Categories or Edit Employee Filter Categories.
  2. Click Unassigned.
  3. Select Range.
  4. Enter the Range Values
    • From (inclusive) date.
    • Enter the To (exclusive) date
    • Caption

  5. Click Create to save your date range.
