Changing Org Chart Views

The application includes different org chart views that change what content appears on the nodes in your org chart. Your Nakisa system administrator will determine which views will be available to you, based on your role. The views vary slightly between Org Unit- and Position-based environments. The information that appears on each node is determined by the environment and the node type.

To change the org chart view:

  1. Click the Chart Action menu.
  2. Select Chart Views then select or Org Unit, Position, or Employee, as needed.
  3. Select the view you want.

Note: Using Microsoft Edge may slightly change the appearance of some views.

Org Unit Views

  • Standard: Contains OU name, Department ID, city, and country
  • Manager: Contains OU name, city, country, and the incumbent name
  • Cost Center: Contains OU name, OU ID, Cost Center ID, and Department
  • Condensed: Contains OU name and ID
  • Analytics-Employee: Contains OU name, incumbent name, city, country, and three employee-based analytics fields
  • Analytics-Position: Contains OU name, incumbent name, city, country, and three position-based analytics fields
  • Gender Distribution: Contains the OU name, OU ID, and the breakdown by gender within the org unit of direct and indirect employees. The analytics values are hyperlinks to a search results page containing the objects in that analytic.
  • Position Summary: Contains OU name, OU ID, and the breakdown of occupied and unoccupied positions within the org unit The analytics values are hyperlinks to a search results page containing the objects in that analytic.
  • Span Layer: Contains OU name, the name and photo of the incumbent, the span of control, average span of control, depth, and layer of the org unit
  • Budget: Contains OU name, the name and photo of the incumbent, headcount, total salary, and average salary of the org unit. The headcount analytic values are hyperlinks to a search results page containing the objects in that analytic.
  • Portrait: Contains OU name; the name, position, and photo of the incumbent; and totals of direct and indirect headcounts for the org unit. The analytics values are hyperlinks to a search results page containing the objects in that analytic.
  • FTE: Contains the OU name, OU ID, FTE and counts data for the org unit. The analytics values are hyperlinks to a search results page containing the objects in that analytic.

Position Views

  • Standard: Contains Position Name, ID, and incumbent name
  • Portrait: Contains incumbent's photo, Position Name, incumbent name, city, and country
  • Department: Contains incumbent's photo, Position Name, department, incumbent name, city, and country
  • Detailed: Contains Position Name, ID, incumbent name, email address, phone number, city, and country
  • Condensed: Contains Position Name and ID
  • Talent Rating: Contains incumbent's photo, Position Name; incumbent name; city and country; and icons indicating key position, performance rating, potential rating, and risk of loss
  • Talent Rating - Vertical: Contains incumbent's photo, Position Name; incumbent name; city and country; and icons indicating key position, performance rating, potential rating, and risk of loss
  • Job: Contains Position Name, ID, incumbent name, Job, and Job ID
  • Location: Contains Position Name, ID, incumbent name, city, and cost center
  • Position Assignment: Contains Position Name, ID, incumbent name, Employee Group, and Employee Subgroup
  • Sucession Plan: Contains the Position Name, incumbent's photo, incumbent name, city and country; and bench strength and successors data. The analytics values are hyperlinks to a search results page containing the objects in that analytic. .

Employee Views

  • Standard: Contains incumbent photo, name, email address, and phone number
  • Condensed: Contains incumbent name and ID
  • Talent Rating: Contains incumbent's photo, incumbent name and ID, and icons indicating performance rating, potential rating, and risk of loss
  • Talent Rating - Vertical: Contains incumbent's photo, incumbent name; and icons indicating performance rating, potential rating, and risk of loss
  • Portrait-Vertical: Contains the incumbent's name, incumbent's photo, email address, office phone number, and mobile telephone number.
