Consolidated Transaction Report Jobs

You can create and run jobs to generate the Consolidated Transaction Reports. The Consolidated Transaction Report Jobs page displays all of the report jobs that have been run, but you can only download the reports that you generated yourself.

Note that before running a report job, there must be at least one profile defined.

Once a job is created, it is queued to generate the report as soon as possible. The report job can be canceled while the status is "Scheduled" or while the job is in progress. Once the report job has completed, you cannot delete or cancel the job.

Note: If there is a service interruption that prevents the completion of the job while it is running, the job status changes to "Interrupted". The application will attempt to recover the job as soon as possible. If the job is recovered, it will resume from where it was interrupted. If the job cannot be recovered within the time limit specified in Financial Organization Structure, the status remains "Interrupted" and you must run the job again.

You also have the option to schedule the report to be generated at a later time on the Scheduled Jobs page. You can set scheduled reporting jobs to run hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. You can edit, disable, or delete them at any time from this page. Once the job runs, it appears on the Consolidated Transaction Report Jobs page. You can click on the Profile to view the profile settings at the time that the job was run.

Note that the Executor column identifies if the job was triggered by a user (Manual) or if it was a scheduled job (Scheduler).

To generate the report:

  1. Click Main Menu > General Ledger > Consolidated Transaction Report > Jobs.
  2. Click to create a new report job.
  3. To filter the report based on profile, make sure you are on the Profile Filter tab.
    • The Profile section lists all of the profiles that you have access to. Select a report profile to specify which objects the report job should be run on.
  4. Alternatively, to filter the report based on a list of objects, click on the Object List Filter tab.
    1. Select the Application where the objects are from. Note that the applications available in this list are the ones configured in Module Management in Financial Organization Structure.
    2. Select the Object Type.
    3. In the Object List, you can search for the IDs individually or enter a list (up to 50) separated by spaces, commas, new lines, or tabs. Note that if you paste the list and press ENTER, the matching IDs are auto-selected and the invalid ones are listed under Invalid Pasted Objects.

Note: The report will only show objects that match both the filters and object IDs entered. Object IDs that do not match the filter criteria are not shown in the report.

  5. In the Date Inputs section (that applies to both tabs):
    • Select a Date Range Type for the report:
      • "Document Date": The report will cover transactions with Document Dates in the range defined in the Period Start and Period End fields.
      • "Transaction Date": The transaction date refers to the date when the transaction was created. The report will cover transactions with transaction dates in the range defined in the Period Start and Period End fields.
      • "Posting Date": The report will cover transactions with Posting Dates in the range defined in the Period Start and Period End fields.
    • Enter a Period Start and Period End date for the selected date range type.
  6. If required (on either tab), set the following fields in the Additional Filters section:
    • Optionally, select an Accounting Standard. Note that this field must be selected to use the "Lease Classification Filter Type".
    • Select the Migrated Filter Type to determine which transactions should be included:
      • Local: Only transactions that were triggered from Nakisa Lease Accounting Suite or Nakisa Portfolio Management
      • Migrated: Transactions that were migrated from another system (e.g., Nakisa Lease Accounting Suite 2022.R2.SPx) via API.
      • All: All transactions, regardless of their data source.
    • By default, the following Filter Type fields are set to "All". If you select "List", you can select one or more specific types to include in the report:
      • Transaction Type Filter Type
      • Ledger Type Filter Type
      • Lease Classification Filter Type
      • Internal Asset Class Filter Type
      • Vendor Filter Type
      • Journal State Filter Type
      • External Posting Status Filter Type
