Mass Transition Management

Mass transition management allows you to easily transition up to 20 contracts from one workflow status to another. The possible workflow transitions are dependent on the configured mode of operation.

Accounting OFF	Draft > Active
Accounting ON (Streamlined and Standard)	Approved > Draft Awaiting Activation > Active Draft > Approved

To run a mass transition job:

Click Main Menu > Mass Operations > Mass Transition Management > Mass Transitions.
Click New Transition.
Enter a Name for the transition job.
Select the From State. This is the initial state of the contracts that will be transitioned in the job. Available options are based on the configured mode of operation.
Select the To State. This is the state you wish to transition the contracts to. Available options are based on the selected From State.
Click Save. The job is created and the contract preview page opens.
Optionally select the Include Contract Versions checkbox to include contract versions in the transition job.
The Contract Preview section lists all the contracts matching the selected From State that you have access to. Select up to 20 contracts to include in the job.
Click Execute.

Once the job is executed, the report view displays the status of the job, including how many contracts successfully transitioned, which ones have errors, and any warnings.

If a contract fails to transition, the report lists the error that prevented the job from completing, and you can click on the display ID of the contract to view it and correct it before attempting to transition it again.
