Default Roles

Nakisa Capital Projects uses roles to determine which areas of the application certain users have access to. User roles are assigned through the Nakisa Cloud Platform.

Users can be assigned more than one role. If you have multiple roles assigned, you will have the sum of all the permissions for each role.

Note: For more details about which areas of the application are affected, refer to the Permission Matrix.

Nakisa Capital Projects has the following roles by default:

General User: General users can access the front-end of the application, including sites, projects, and proposals.
Reporting User: Reporting users have read only access to sites, projects, and proposals, as well as access to dashboards and reports.
Executive User: Similar to General users, Executive users can access the front-end of the application, as well as budgets and capacity planning.
NSS Admin: Admin users can configure the application through the Admin modules. Admin users do not have access to any sites, projects, or proposals. The Admin user can also publish custom dashboards.
