Pools and Succession

The Pools and Successions page lets you lets you manage the succession management features available in Nakisa Org Chart.

Pools and Succession Settings

This page allows you to enable or disable different aspects of succession management. To enable or disable a feature, switch the toggle on or off, then click Save Settings.

Enable Succession Visualization: Enable this setting get access to the Succession View org chart view, and succession information in the details pages.
Enable Succession Assignment: If the previous setting is enabled, this setting allows users with the appropriate role to assign and manage successors.
Enable Pools Visualization: Enable this setting to view Succession Pools from the main menu, and from the details pages.
Enable Pools Assignment: If the previous setting is enabled, this settings allows users with the appropriate role to assign employees to succession pools and manage the pools.

Pools and Succession Caption Management

Caption management allows you change certain captions that appear throughout succession management.

Click on a caption row to expand it, and view the current captions used for the supported languages. Edit these captions are required, then click Save Settings.

Succession AOR Settings

This page allows you to choose how the AOR is determined for three different roles that can be used for succession management. The options are:

Below User Structural AOR: The AOR is below the user in the organizational hierarchy, and does not include the user's own information.
Same as User AOR: The AOR is determined by the user's field value, selected in the Field dropdown. For example, if the field is LegalEntity.name, then the user will be able to manage succession information for the entire legal entity that they belong to. Note that the user's own information is excluded from their AOR.

Once you have made your changes, click Save Settings at the top of the page.
