User Role Access

This section defines each role that Nakisa Workforce Planning Portfolio products provide "out of the box" and explaining what each role has access to and what they do not.

Note that roles cannot be configured in the Nakisa Workforce Planning Portfolio, they are assigned and maintained in the Nakisa Cloud Platform.

Role	Access
Employee	The Employee Role can see some of the views, can perform searches in the data (though secure fields are not displayed) . They can see (and search in) information that other users have added to their profiles, but have a limited Org Chart views. Most users in a company will have this role. The Employee Role does not have access to any of the analytics or dashboards, will not see sensitive data such as talent ratings or salary information, and cannot use Nakisa Operational Org Design or see any created Proposals.
Manager	The Manager Role can see everything the Employee can see, plus they have access to dashboards for their areas and the people/positions below them. They can view high-level talent data about the entire organization, but they can see all of the secure data for the people who report to them. They can create Nakisa Operational Org Design Proposals for all people/positions that report to them. The Manager Role does not have access to salary information outside of their department, and cannot create Nakisa Operational Org Design Proposals outside of their organization. They will see secured information outside of their organization if a Nakisa Operational Org Design Proposal is assigned to them.
Manager - Approver	The Manager - Approver Role has the same access of the Manager Role, plus they have Approval and Deployment rights for Proposals created in Nakisa Operational Org Design.
HR	The HR Role can see all data and views in the application, plus they have access to all dashboards and analytics.
HR Master	The HR-Master Role can see all data and views in the application , plus they have access to all dashboards and analytics. They can create Nakisa Operational Org Design Proposals for the entire organization. They can work in one of these Proposals if it is shared with them.
Admin	The Admin role has access to the Admin functions of Nakisa Org Chart Suite and Nakisa Org Design Suite, including the settings and avatars. The Admin user can also publish custom dashboards to be shared with other dashboard users. This role has no other access on its own. It can be combined with any other role to combine the access of the two roles.
