What's New
In addition to general editorial changes and corrections, this release of the documentation contains the following main changes included in the release of 2026.R1:
- Nakisa Decision Intelligence (NDI) is a next-generation agentic AI platform that lets you securely access decision-ready insights and simulate future outcomes instantly without relying on dashboards, analytics teams, or traditional BI tools. Fully integrated into Nakisa products, Nakisa Decision Intelligence is available to users with the appropriate roles and permissions.
- Nakisa Facilities Management now includes the new Request Portal, a place where external users can submit their maintenance and service requests.
- The new Tab and Sections Management page allows users to hide tabs and sections that are not being used, allowing for a cleaner and more efficient user experience.
- Nakisa Facilities Management now supports Service Level Agreement (SLA) management for work orders. Administrators can define SLA templates by work order type, including response and resolution times, as well as default priorities. These SLAs are automatically applied to work orders upon assignment, enabling real-time tracking of acknowledgment and completion timelines. The system also introduces visual indicators and configurable notifications to alert users and managers when deadlines are approaching or have been exceeded, helping improve operational efficiency and accountability.
- You can now create Work Order templates, which allow you to predefine common fields when creating work orders, reducing manual entry and improving data consistency.
- Integration with Nakisa Capital Projects has been enhanced. You can now link tasks to work orders, and the work order cost is sent to the task in Nakisa Capital Projects once the work order is complete.
- Nakisa Facilities Management now supports automated collection of post–work order feedback from occupants and requesters. Upon work order closure, users can submit a rating with optional comments. Feedback is linked to the associated work order, location, and vendor, and can be viewed directly within these records. Facility managers can monitor performance using basic reporting on average ratings and configure alerts for low scores.
- When a work order is triggered from a sensor reading, the application now automatically creates a work order based on the selected work order template.
