Master Data Sync Settings

The Master Data Sync Settings page allows you to view if any automatic copies of exchange rate master data from one ERP system to another has been set up. This page allow you to see if a master data sync or a master data upload via Excel impacts more than one system.

These settings are configure in Financial Organization Structure, and are displayed in Nakisa SAP Sync Bot for easy visibility. To access this page, click Main Menu > SAP Sync Bot > Master Data Sync Settings.

There is an entry for each ERP system, where the Source and Target Servers are the same by default. If the Target Server is connected to SAP (where ERP System is "SAP"), then the master data is always synced from SAP. If the Target Server is standalone (where ERP System is "Nakisa"), then the master data sync can be set up one of three ways for the Target ERP:

To upload from Excel:
- The Source Server is the same as the Target Server, and the Source Master Data Sync Mode is "Excel".
To automatically copy from another ERP server whenever master data is uploaded via Excel:
- The Source Server is one that has master data uploaded from Excel, and the Source Master Data Sync Mode is "Excel".
To automatically copy from another ERP server whenever it syncs from SAP:
- The Source Server is one that syncs from SAP, and the Source Master Data Sync Mode is "SAP".

Warning: The Currency must first be set for the ERP system to be able to copy exchange rates.
