Exchange Rate
The exchange rates used to convert amounts to company currency or reporting currency are read from the Exchange Rate table of your Nakisa Lease Administration instance and displayed on this page.
Optionally, you can define exchange rates directly in this table, which overrides the exchange rates from Nakisa Lease Administration. The application first checks if there is a valid exchange rate in this table. If no rate is found, the application looks up the rate from Nakisa Lease Administration.
To configure exchange rates:
- Click Application Menu
> Administration > Exchange Rate. - Select the required System at the top of the page.
- The Nakisa Lease Administration table displays the exchange rates from the Nakisa Lease Administration Exchange Rate table of the selected system.
- If required, select the Company to filter the rates displayed by company currency to the reporting currency (if one is configured).
- Optionally, click
on the Capital Investment Budget table to define a new exchange rate directly in the application for the selected system. Note that this overrides rates defined in Nakisa Lease Administration.- Set the From Currency and To Currency. If the page is filtered by company, the From Currency must be the company currency.
- Enter the Exchange Rate.
- Select the Valid From date.
- Click Add.
- To edit an entry in the Capital Investment Budget table, click
> Edit. - To delete an entry in the Capital Investment Budget table, click
> Delete.- To delete multiple entries at one time, select the required entries and click Delete

- To import exchange rates, click
and follow the steps below. Note that if the System, From and To Currency, and Valid From match an existing entry, the exchange rate is modified. Otherwise, a new entry is created.- Select the System.
- Optionally, click Download Template to create an Excel file to import.
- Click
to navigate to your completed file. - Click Submit.
- To export table entries to Excel, select the checkboxes of the required exchange rates and click
. Only the selected rates are included in the exported file.
