Creating Related Submissions

You can create a new submission that is related to an existing submission that has already been approved. The related submission is automatically created in the subsequent year from the parent submission, and copies the remaining unspent budget amounts for each investment type from the parent (although this can be modified if required). Note that the related submission is created under the same lease area, system, and company as the parent. The ID of the parent submission is then displayed as a clickable link in the Parent Submission field on the General Info card.

Once this new related submission is approved, it is automatically added under every Nakisa Lease Administration master agreement that is assigned to the parent submission. This is either done when the master agreement Definition page is loaded, or by the schedule job "Sync Capital Investment" that runs once a day in Nakisa Lease Administration by default.

Note that the related submission cannot be added under the master agreement if there is already another active submission assigned with the same company, year, and investment type. You must verify that the related master agreements are updated as expected. If there is a conflicting submission, you must first remove, archive, or reject that submission and the related submission will be subsequently added to the master agreement.

Note: The related submission cannot be removed from the master agreement unless the parent submission is first removed.

To create a related submission:

Click Main Menu > Submissions and use one of the following options:
- On the Submission Summary page, navigate to the required submission and click Context Menu > Create From.
- Alternatively, open the required submission and click Context Menu > Create From
Modify the Project name, if required
The Year is automatically set, but can be set to a later year if required.
Click Add. The submission is created.
