Activity Analysis Report Jobs

You can create and run jobs to generate the Activity Analysis Reports. The Activity Analysis Reports Jobs page displays all of the report jobs that have been run, but you can only download the reports that you generated yourself.

Note that before running a report job, there must be at least one profile defined.

Once a job is created, it is queued to generate the report as soon as possible. The report job can be canceled while the status is "Processing". Once the report job has completed, you cannot delete or cancel the job.

Note: If there is a service interruption that prevents the completion of the job while it is running, the job status changes to "Interrupted". The application will attempt to recover the job as soon as possible. If the job is recovered, it will resume from where it was interrupted. If the job cannot be recovered within the time limit specified in Financial Organization Structure, the status remains "Interrupted" and you must run the job again.

You also have the option to schedule the report to be generated at a later time on the Scheduled Jobs page. You can set scheduled reporting jobs to run hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. You can edit, disable, or delete them at any time from this page. Once the job runs, it appears on the Activity Analysis Report Jobs page. You can click on the Profile to view the profile settings at the time that the job was run. Note that if the profile is modified, it will affect the scheduled job the next time it runs.

Note that the Executor column identifies if the job was triggered by a user (Manual) or if it was a scheduled job (Scheduler).

To generate the report:

  1. Click Main Menu > Reporting Module > Activity Analysis Reports > Jobs.
  2. Click to open the Add Activity Analysis Report Job window.
  3. Select a Report Type. You can select "By Amount" and "By Count" to generate both reports.
  4. If required, select one or more Activation Group Statuses. Note that this field is only available if the selected Report Type is "By Amount".
  5. In the Profiles section, select a report profile for the job.
  6. In the Fiscal Year & Period section, select your Date Range Type for the report.
    • If it is set to "Calendar Date", set the From Date and To Date fields to define the date range for the report.
    • If it is set to "Fiscal Periods", set the following fields:
      • From Year and To Year: Select the required year range for the report.
      • From Period and To Period: For the selected year range, specify which periods to start and end the report. Note that available periods are based on the selected fiscal variant in the report profile.

Note: The Calendar Type and FY Variant fields are automatically set to the types defined in the selected profile.

  7. In the Classifications section, select an Accounting Standard. Optionally, you can also set the following fields:
    • Select the Principal Position for the report.
    • Select one or more Classification(s) for the report. The activation groups are filtered based on the current classification.
    • Select the Lease Type for the report.
    • Select the Partner for the report.
    • Select the Asset Class for the report.
    • Select the Migrated Filter Type to determine which objects should be included:

      • Local: Only objects that were created in Nakisa Lease Accounting Suite or Nakisa Portfolio Management Suite while Migration Mode was off.
      • Migrated: Objects that were migrated from another system (e.g., Nakisa Lease Accounting Suite 2022.R2.SPx) or that were created while Migration Mode was on.
      • All: All transactions, regardless of their data source.

  8. If the selected Report Type is "By Amount", optionally select an Object List Type and enter Object IDs in the Object List field. You can search for the IDs individually or enter a list (up to 50) separated by spaces, commas, new lines, or tabs. Note that if you paste the list and press ENTER, the matching IDs are auto-selected and the invalid ones are listed under Invalid Pasted Objects.

Note: The report will only show objects that match both the filters and object IDs entered. Object IDs that do not match the filter criteria are not shown in the report.

  9. Click Submit.
  10. Click to begin Excel generation and download. If the report file contains a large amount of data, the download button will turn green when the report is ready to download. Click to download the prepared report.
