Using the Main Menu Panel

This section identifies the key elements of the Main Menu panel. Depending on your level of access, your environment type, and which of the Nakisa Nakisa HR Suite licenses your company purchased, you may not see all of the itemized objects pictured here.

  1. Favorites: Use this menu to access your org charts, details panels, and search results you saved.
  2. Profile: The icon or photo representing the logged in user.
  3. Charts: Click here to open the main org charts for your organization.
  4. Derived Charts: Click here to access a derived version of your organization structure.
  5. My Scenarios: Click here to open the scenarios you have created or that you have access to.
  6. Dashboard: Click here to access the graphs and analytics in the Dashboard. You can also select an effective date by clicking the calendar icon.
  7. Employee Map: Click here to open an interactive map indicating the locations of all of the employees in the organization. You can also select an effective date by clicking the calendar icon.
  8. Storyboards: Click here to create and access Storyboards you have created. Storyboards allow you to create presentations that show links to charts, analytics dashboards, and other elements of Nakisa HR Suite you need.
  9. Trends: Click here to access charts demonstrating historical trends for your organization's HR data. You can select employee or position trends, as well as org unit trends if your organization supports org units.
  10. Turnover Analysis: Click here to access trends, a dashboard, and search option of the people who have resigned, been terminated, or retired from your organization.
  11. Reports: Click here to access talent and compensation reports based on your data.
  12. Nakisa Advanced Analytics: Click here to launch Nakisa Advanced Analytics.
  13. Succession Pool Comparison: Click here to view all the succession pools created. You can view the talent pipelines created for specific positions including the readiness and ranking of each employee in a succession pool.
  14. Icicle Chart: Click here to access the Icicle Chart for your organization.
  15. Help: Click here to access this online help, submit your User Feedback, and see some educational videos for Nakisa HR Suite.
  16. Logout: Click here to exit the application.

To view your profile:

From the Profile section of the Main Menu panel, you can view your details panel.

  1. Click the Main Menu .
  2. Click the icon with your photo or initials on it.
  3. Click View My Profile. From here, you can see all of the information in your details panel, and add skills, languages, and other data into the Social section of your profile.

Alternatively, you can also view your profile by clicking View My Profile to the top right of the landing page.

To set your user preferences:

From the Profile section of the Main Menu panel, you can change your user preferences, including your preferred language, the theme you want to use, and whether or not the Help legend appears on your screen.

  1. Click the Main Menu .
  2. Click the icon with your photo or initials on it.
  3. Click Change My Preferences. This opens the User Preferences dialog.
  4. Select the language you want Nakisa HR Suite to appear in. (Note that the data in your system will remain in the language in which it was uploaded.)
  5. Select the Theme you want to use for Nakisa HR Suite. Options are Nakisa Default and Dark.
  6. Deselect the Show help icon check box if you do not want to see the Help legend on your screen.
  7. Click Save.

Alternatively, you can set your user preference by clicking the preference icon to the top right of the landing page.

To change your password:

  1. Click the Main Menu .
  2. Click the icon with your photo or initials on it.
  3. Click Change Password. This opens the Change Password dialog.
  4. Enter your old password.
  5. Enter your new password in the New Password field, then re-enter it in the next field.
  6. Click Confirm.
