Creating Team Designs from Derived Hierarchies

After opening your derived hierarchy org chart, you can then create a Team Design scenario based on that organization structure, if desired.

1. To generate a Team Design from a Derived Hierarchy:
2. From the Main Menu , select Derived Charts, then select the appropriate derived chart option (typically Position Reporting Structure or OrgUnit Structure, depending on your source environment).
3. When the org chart opens, click the node menu of the node you want to be the head of the org chart and select Create Scenario .
4. Enter a name for your scenario, and click Create.

You can now perform any of the tasks available to Team Designs based on your primary structure.
