Maintaining Activation Groups

When a VP of Leasing approves a contract, activation groups and units are automatically created. Lease Administrators and Accountants must enter additional information in the activation groups.

If required, the activation group can be split (at any time). For example, at inception, an activation group may be split because there is a large lag in the reception of the units, and you would like to start operating a portion of the units.

When the activation group is maintained during contract inception, the Contract Phase is "Setup" and the Activation Group Status for the activation group is "Define".
